Voyager

AI trading agent / Solana

Build an AI crypto trading agent on Solana.

Turn Claude, ChatGPT or your own agent into a crypto trading bot that swaps tokens and sets limit orders through Jupiter. Voyager gives each agent its own wallet and checks every trade against the limits you set.

Chat-based trading bot

Use Claude or ChatGPT as a crypto trading bot.

Connect Voyager and ask in plain language. The model picks the tool, Voyager checks the agent's limits, and the trade routes through Jupiter.

  • you › How much of my daily limit is left?
  • you › What are SOL and JUP trading at right now?
  • you › Swap 25 USDC for SOL.
  • you › Sell 2 SOL if it drops below 120 USD, and take profit at 200 USD.
  • you › Show my last five trades and their status.
  • you › Cancel my open limit orders.

TypeScript SDK

Or build your own trading agent.

@voyager/sdk calls the API directly and turns Voyager's tools into tool definitions for the OpenAI API, Anthropic's API and the Vercel AI SDK. The OpenAI Agents SDK can use the hosted MCP endpoint.

TypeScript SDK

npm i @voyager/sdk

import { VoyagerClient, createVoyagerTools, toVercelAITools } from "@voyager/sdk";

const voyager = new VoyagerClient({ apiKey: process.env.VOYAGER_API_KEY!, baseUrl: "https://www.runvoyager.com" });

// Direct calls
await voyager.swap({ inputToken: "USDC", outputToken: "SOL", amountUsd: 25 });

// Or hand the tools to your framework (also: toOpenAITools, toAnthropicTools)
const tools = toVercelAITools(createVoyagerTools(voyager));

OpenAI Agents SDK

TypeScript, @openai/agents

import { Agent, run, hostedMcpTool } from "@openai/agents";

const agent = new Agent({
  name: "Trader",
  instructions: "Trade on Solana within the owner's Voyager limits.",
  tools: [hostedMcpTool({
    serverLabel: "voyager",
    serverUrl: "https://www.runvoyager.com/api/mcp",
    headers: { Authorization: "Bearer vgr_live_…" },
    requireApproval: "never",
  })],
});
const result = await run(agent, "Swap $20 of USDC into SOL.");

Capabilities

Swaps, limit orders, take-profit and stop-loss.

Prices and quotes
USD prices for up to 50 tokens at once, and a Jupiter quote with the fee shown before any swap.
Swaps
Swap by token amount or by USD value. Each trade is reserved against the agent's budget, then signed and sent.
Limit orders
Buy or sell when a token's USD price goes above or below a level. Funds stay in the agent's wallet until then.
Take-profit and stop-loss
Link orders that sell the same tokens one-cancels-other: when one fills, the others are cancelled.
Trade history
Every attempt is logged with its status, fee and transaction link, including the trades your limits blocked.
Approvals
Trades above your threshold wait for you in the dashboard. Approve or reject them with your wallet.

Agent permissions

Spending limits checked on the server.

An agent can't raise its own limits. Every call is checked before anything is signed, and each Jupiter transaction is decoded and simulated before the agent's key signs it.

Spending caps
Per-trade, rolling 24-hour and 30-day limits in USD. Each trade is checked and reserved against the budget in one locked step.
Token rules
Major tokens resolve to their canonical mints. Purchases are limited to Jupiter-verified tokens, or to an allowlist you choose.
Execution limits
Maximum slippage and price impact apply to every route Jupiter returns.
Approvals
Trades above your threshold wait in the dashboard until you approve or reject them.
No transfer tool
Agents can quote, swap and place limit orders. Withdrawals are owner-only and go to your sign-in wallet.
Pause
A paused agent has its next call refused, including limit orders that fire later.

Safety

Know the risks.

Limits narrow what an agent can do. They do not make trading safe.

Limits cap exposure, not losses
Your limits bound how much an agent can trade, not whether its trades are good. An agent can lose money on trades inside its limits.
Not financial advice
Voyager executes what your agent asks for. Nothing Voyager or your agent says is financial, investment or tax advice.
Swaps are final
Solana transactions cannot be reversed. Prices move between quote and execution, so a swap can fail or fill at a worse price within your slippage limit.
Agent wallets are hot wallets
Voyager creates each agent wallet and keeps its key encrypted on its servers so it can sign that agent's trades. Fund it only with what the agent may trade, and withdraw what it no longer needs.
Guard your API keys
Anyone with an agent's key can trade within that agent's limits. Store keys like passwords, revoke any that leak, and pause the agent if something looks wrong.
Tokens carry their own risk
Jupiter's token verification and Voyager's checks reduce, but do not remove, the risk of scam, illiquid or volatile tokens.
Early software
Voyager is new and depends on Jupiter and the Solana network. Start with small limits, review your agent's activity, and comply with the laws and tax rules that apply to you.

Voyager earns a fee of 0.50% on each agent-executed swap. It is included in every quote, before execution. Routing and execution by Jupiter.

FAQ

AI trading agent questions.

Can an AI agent trade crypto on its own?

Yes, within the limits you set. Once connected, an agent can check prices, swap tokens and place limit orders on Solana without asking you each time. Trades above your approval threshold wait in the dashboard until you approve them.

Can I use Claude or ChatGPT as a crypto trading bot?

Yes. Connect Voyager to Claude or ChatGPT and ask in plain language, for example “swap 25 USDC for SOL” or “sell 2 SOL if it drops below 120 USD”. The model calls Voyager's tools, and Voyager checks each call against the agent's limits.

Does Voyager decide what to trade?

No. Voyager executes what your agent asks for, if it fits the agent's limits. Nothing Voyager or your agent says is financial, investment or tax advice.

Can my agent set a stop-loss or take-profit?

Yes. Limit orders fire when a token's USD price goes above or below a level. A take-profit and a stop-loss on the same tokens can be linked, so when one fills the other is cancelled.

Which agent frameworks work with Voyager?

The TypeScript SDK (@voyager/sdk) calls the API directly and converts Voyager's tools for the OpenAI API, Anthropic's API and the Vercel AI SDK. The OpenAI Agents SDK and any MCP client can use the hosted MCP endpoint.

What does it cost?

There is no subscription. Voyager earns a fee of 0.50% on each agent-executed swap. It is included in every quote, before execution. Solana network fees are paid from the agent's wallet.
